Students new to Bishop Reding may enjoy a taste of many areas of technology in our Integrated Technology course:
Students will be given an introduction to three specialized areas of technology where they can examine and develop their skill set with regards to operating various automotive, wood working and computer design equipment; all while establishing teamwork skills and assisting in the design and construction of several products of their own.
Areas of study include:
- Automotive service. Students will perform five vehicle maintenance jobs
- Construction. Students will use tools and blueprints to build a wood project.
- Design technology. Students will learn CAD software to design technical drawings.
- Culminating task. Students will design, build and test a CO2 powered drag racer.
